Level 1 National Championships 2019 - England
LEVEL 1 - Championships Qualification Criteria
Level 1 classes at affiliated TREC GB competitions, since 6th August 2018 to 4th August 2019 run by TREC GB member clubs will be qualifying classes, unless the organiser has opted out of qualifier status (in which case it will be clearly stated in the schedule). Only open unrestricted classes will qualify for championships and league points.
The qualification criteria for the Level 1 TREC GB Championships 2019 of Great Britain are as follows:
For classes with up to 10 individuals/pairs, competitors placed 1st to 4th will qualify. For classes with 11 or more individuals/pairs, competitors placed 1st to 6th will qualify.
For 2019, Qualification will roll down if the persons placed 1st to 4th (or 1st to 6th) have already qualified.
In order to be eligible to ride at the Level 1 Championships riders must be Red tier or Blue tier members of TREC GB before the closing date for entries for the Level 1 Championships. In the case of a pair, both riders must be TREC GB members before the closing date for entries.
Please be aware that the ruling for the Level 1 Championships has changed for 2019. Competitors are still, as always, allowed to compete at qualifiers at any level, however for 2019, competitors who have ridden at the 2017 or 2018 National Championships (on the same horse) will not be allowed to ride in the Level 1 Championship classes at Bucklebury.
The veteran class will be held as usual, and there will be another open class, open to all with no qualification, but carrying no Championship status. In the case of entries being oversubscribed, this class will be limited in numbers.
